Dallas World Aquarium

The Dallas World Aquarium houses an elaborate zoo right in the heart of downtown Dallas. Laid out to mimic the tropical¬†rainforest of South America, this zoo is home to birds and land animals as well as fish. Our tour begins in the canopy where we can see many exotic birds in free flight. As we journey our way to the forest floor we’ll see monkeys, otters, and¬†alligators. Next we’ll go further down for a look underwater at manatees, sting rays, and sharks!

Highlights on this tour include:

  • The Rainforest ecosystem
  • Animals of the Rainforest
  • God’s unique designs
  • Humanity & Animals: biblical conservationism

This tour lasts 90 min.

The price is $5 per person + admission (Aquarium admission is $15.95 + tax for groups over 15). Parking is $3-$7.

Zoo hours: 9:00-5:00 daily. Aquarium website.

What is the difference between a crocodile and an alligator? Do all these animals exist by accident? What color is a flamingo really? (Hint: It's not pink.)
